Darko
Darko began collecting records while his friends were still playing with toy cars ; his selective and demanding ears set to become his most trusted allies. DJ from the age of 17, Darko has earnt deserved
respect on the Belgian music scene. With frequent appearances at the country’s major clubs and dance festivals alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin, RicardoVillalobos (@ I love Techno),... Darko’s most recent project is the Brussels Electronic Music Festival (www.bemf.be), together with the Palace For Fine Arts (bozar.be). A second edition is on the way : March 2010.20 years vk* concerts The vk* is one of these places that you don’t hear enough about and that, in spite of all this, offer a consistent programming and constant research. Their birthday will enchant us, and will be plugged onto a London sound. Workshop Zappa I’m most curious about this Zappa workshop. The unique musical language of the master always has great sound surprises in stock. The compositions will be played and adapted by children... A must see, and a must hear most certainly. Underground Citylife I’ve always thought that underground stations had a huge unexploited potential. The fact that there is always passage and that the audience is constantly renewed allows to offer a countless number of works... Must dig in deeper.... Binary waves The Lab(au) team will once again surprise us. These intellectuals of digital art are true pioneers. An essential new creation. Montgomery joue Mad Max The exercise of music on a film is always perilous. Mad Max is one of those films that left its mark on me, and I’ll gladly see it again. I don’t know this French group but the “teasing” appeals to me ! Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet I’m a great fan of the Ictus group and the way in which they build and bring music. I strongly recommend these architects of sound.
